Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Workers' Compensation team in our Naples office. The Associate will support fellow Attorneys with a heavy and complex caseload of Workers' Compensation cases, benefiting from the firm’s substantial resources and nationwide expertise.

You will learn how M&M handles Workers' Compensation cases and work to maximize outcomes for claimants while collaborating with world-class trial attorneys.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar member in good standing; multiple state licenses preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years of workers' compensation experience.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases through full life cycle.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and memoranda.
• Guide claimants through the case process.
• Coordinate with expert witnesses, conferences, reports, and affidavits.
• Prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and appearances.

Summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Workers Compensation team in our Naples office. The Workers Compensation Associate Attorney will support fellow Attorneys with a heavy and complex case-load of Workers Compensation cases, and will benefit from working at the firm with the largest marketing budget in this space. You will learn how M&M handles Workers Compensation cases and how we maximize the best result for the claimants. Our lawyers work the best cases, with close to unlimited resources, and alongside world-class trial Attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum
• Guide claimants through the case process
• Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and appearances.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• An active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association. Multiple State Bar Licenses preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years of workers compensation experience
• Ability to manage high volume of cases through full life cycle
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
