Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an Attorney to learn Workers' Compensation from the ground up. The Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney will work with experienced litigators on a heavy caseload and complex hearings. This rare growth opportunity can lead to a strong long‑term practice within the state.

The right candidate will eventually handle a high flow of cases and depositions, with a path to earning more in Workers’ Compensation than elsewhere in Florida.

Qualifications

• Active member in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
• Ability to manage high volume of cases and hearings.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day handling of cases and hearings.
• Drafting and filing litigation documents including pleadings and discovery requests/responses.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interaction with expert witnesses including conferences and affidavits.
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
