Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney in New Jersey to defend claims, conduct comprehensive legal research, draft and file pleadings, and represent clients in pre-trial and trial settings. Hybrid schedule with strong billable hour expectations and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate holds a JD, is admitted to practice in the state, and has at least 1 year of relevant experience. Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar association.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney, preferably in the tech services industry.
• Proven experience in legal research, legal writing, depositions, and trial.
• Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities
