Responsibilities

• Investigate claims by coordinating with insureds, medical providers, and others to determine compensability.
• Set reserves reflecting claim exposure and determine causal relationships.
• Manage files with timely contact, proper documentation, and resolution of outstanding issues.
• Collaborate with medical and legal resources to pursue claim resolution opportunities including return to work and structured settlements.
• Prepare letters and filings within statutory limits; advise on Medicare Set Asides where applicable.
• Pursue offset opportunities and monitor potential fraud; manage litigation to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain required Insurance Licenses and continuing education as mandated.
