Davies North America in Orlando, FL seeks a WC Claims Assistant to support claims specialists in a fast-paced workers’ compensation environment. You will handle clerical duties, manage documentation, and maintain diary entries to ensure file accuracy.

The role requires strong typing, excellent communication, and PC proficiency. This permanent full-time position reports to Margaret Ramirez, with a starting pay of $16.00–$18.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• Good typing/PC skills; 40+ WPM.
• Knowledge of Florida Workers’ Compensation statutes helpful.
• Excellent organizational skills and team player.
• Strong communication, oral and written; customer service oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clerical assistance to claims specialists in a Workers’ Compensation claims environment.
• Proactively identify and complete daily tasks related to handling Workers’ Compensation claims.
• Handle correspondence, letters, mail etc. on behalf of the claims specialist.
• Document notes in system file and track with computerized system.
• Work diary as assigned; keep diary up to date.
• Copy, scan and organize documentation as necessary.
• Identify issues that will require the claims specialist’s attention.
• Process form letters and state forms.
• Handle No Record Legal Mail; obtain info to complete Notice of Injury.
• Review paper files for content; submit to attorneys as directed.
