Job summary

Davies North America is seeking an experienced Claims Supervisor to lead a team of Workers' Compensation professionals, including Adjusters, Nurse Case Managers, and Claims Assistants. You will ensure high-quality claim handling, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction while fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture.

The ideal candidate brings deep WC expertise, proven leadership, and the ability to mentor staff while maintaining a client-focused approach across the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Workers' Compensation claims handling experience required.
• Prior supervisory, team lead, or mentoring experience strongly preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of Workers' Compensation statutes, regulations, claims practices, and case law.
• Strong understanding of compensability investigations, medical management, return-to-work programs, litigation management, and settlement strategies.
• Experience reviewing reserves and managing claim performance metrics.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to client service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Workers' Compensation team and support staff.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to team members.
• Monitor claims handling for regulatory compliance and client requirements.
• Review coverage, compensability, and reserve adequacy.
• Coordinate return-to-work and medical management.
• Maintain regular client communication and stewardship discussions.
• Identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans.
