Job summary

Davies North America in Orlando, FL is seeking a WC Claims Assistant to support workers’ compensation claim handling. You will perform clerical tasks, manage documents, and assist claims specialists under supervision.

Strong attention to detail, good typing (≥40 WPM), and solid communication are required. Florida adjuster license preferred; MS Word/Excel skills helpful; 40+ hours per week with permanent, full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS diploma and 1 year of office experience.
• Typing speed 40+ WPM.
• Florida Adjuster license preferred.
• Medical terminology helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical assistance to claims specialists in a Workers’ Compensation claims environment.
• Handle correspondence and notes in the system.
• Maintain system diary and document activity daily.
• Process form letters and state forms.
• Identify issues needing the claims specialist’s attention.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
