Job summary

Lockton Companies in Minneapolis seeks an experienced claims professional to monitor activities, evaluate data, and drive favorable outcomes for clients. You will liaise between clients and carriers, ensuring accurate claim forms and timely status updates, and help develop and implement claims management programs.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in business or related field, strong knowledge of property and casualty claims, and excellent verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business or related field or equivalent practical insurance claim management experience.
• Substantial knowledge of Third Party Administrators' practices and ability to develop long-term partnerships with clients.
• Proven experience in evaluating the accuracy of property and casualty claim reserving practices.
• Strong knowledge of insurance claims, coverage interpretation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitors claims activities and results, facilitating resolutions as needed.
• Acts as liaison between Clients and insurance carriers to advocate the best outcome for the Client while respecting carrier processes.
• Ensures the accuracy and completeness of claim forms.
• Reviews claim status, action plans, and reserves with advanced problem solving.
• Develops and implements Claims Management Programs and coordinates client meetings to review programs.
• Develops yearly service plans for each Client’s policy and conducts regular claims review meetings.
• Reviews loss history and provides recommendations to improve Client position.
