Job summary

Lockton is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Consultant to help evaluate, manage, and influence client compensation claim programs, strengthening Lockton's ability to attract and retain business.

You will build relationships with clients and carriers, manage claim program goals, analyze data, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable improvements in outcomes and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business or related field or equivalent practical insurance claim management experience.
• Proficiency in evaluating and communicating property and casualty coverage to clients.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of third-party administrators and claim reserving practices.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with common office software.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain effective client relationships to attract and retain business and improve outcomes.
• Consult with clients on overall claim program goals and ensure timely, accurate obligations.
• Explain coverage and legal issues to influence claim outcomes and reserves as needed.
• Analyze data to identify claim trends and recommend program improvements.
• Review TPA and carrier services and align with client programs; perform RFP reviews.
• Coordinate with Loss Prevention and other teams to provide unified client assessments.
• Communicate complex issues clearly and present strategic recommendations to clients.
