Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Workers' Compensation Administrator to manage our workers' compensation program, conduct claims reviews, audits, and investigations, and ensure compliance with national, state, and local regulations. The role collaborates with associates, communities, and HR partners to optimize claims handling and safety programs.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of related experience, with strong Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of workers’ compensation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college preferred; and minimum of two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent knowledge of HR practices and principles and workers compensation laws/regulations.
• Must have strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).

Responsibilities

• Administers the company’s workers compensation program.
• Documents, audits, and investigates claims.
• Provides guidance to the organization to ensure compliance with national, state, and local regulations.
• Administers workers compensation programs and assists in developing and implementing new policies and programs.
• Reviews all reported claims via on-line system provided by third party administrator and/or carrier on a daily basis.
