Job summary

Town of Brookline is seeking a skilled HR Specialist focusing on Leave of Absence and Workers' Compensation to join the Human Resources team at 333 Washington Street, Brookline, MA 02445. You will manage workers' compensation claims, leave programs, and related services to support employees and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of experience in workers' compensation or leave management, with strong communication and case-management abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Insurance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years in workers' compensation administration or leave management.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Case management for Workers' Compensation and leave programs.
• Coordinate communication between employees, providers, and managers.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, and Workers' Compensation laws.
• Oversee documentation, approvals, and return-to-work planning.
• Maintain records and generate reports on leave and workers' comp.
