Job summary

Gallagher Bassett seeks a Claims Adjuster with workers’ compensation experience to analyze exposure, plan actions, and resolve complex claims. You’ll collaborate with clients, carriers, and claimants, applying judgment and empathy to deliver effective outcomes under NY requirements.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and at least 3 years of claims experience; licensure in applicable states is required. A Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years related claims experience.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims exposure and plan the proper course of action to resolve claims.
• Interact extensively with clients, carriers, and claimants to ensure effective communication and resolution.
• Provide empathetic, high-quality customer service to claimants on behalf of clients.
• Document and communicate claim activity timely to support the claim file outcome.
