Gusto is seeking an experienced L4 People Technology Developer to lead design, configuration, and optimization of Workday solutions that power HR and payroll. You will mentor others, partner with People, IT, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, business-ready outcomes.

The role requires advanced Workday expertise and independent problem-solving in a fast-paced, AI-enabled environment. This position supports multiple U.S. locations with hybrid work expectations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of hands-on Workday analyst or configuration experience.
• Advanced, wide-ranging knowledge of Workday security, business processes, reporting, and calculated fields.
• Ability to work on complex issues with independent judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead configuration of Workday modules (Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, HCM, Talent, Compensation) on complex business requirements.
• Architect and guide development of Workday Business Processes, calculated fields, and security roles; select methods for new assignments.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of new features with each Workday release; guide policy development for optimization across modules.
• Develop and own advanced, matrix, composite, and dashboard reports in Workday; surface actionable workforce insights.
• Drive data quality and integrity standards across Workday and connected systems; provide analytical insights for workforce planning.
• Own audit readiness through reporting, documentation, and control frameworks; determine appropriate methods independently.
• Design and lead test strategies, including test plans, scripts, and UAT coordination; guide testing approaches for quality.
• Mentor and upskill team members and key users on Workday functionality; act as a subject matter authority on system capabilities.
