Job summary

Fastly, Inc. is seeking a People Systems Architect to serve as the internal Workday SME, driving configuration, testing, and deployment of HR processes across the organization.

You will design and optimize Workday modules, lead cross‑functional collaboration, and support data integrity and reporting for scale. The role requires deep Workday knowledge, HR process expertise, and the ability to translate requirements into practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive Workday or HR technology experience.
• Deep Workday configuration in Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Performance, Talent, Time Off, Time Tracking, Payroll, or Core HCM.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR technology projects of varying complexity, including annual compensation cycles, performance reviews, and learning initiatives.
• Partner with People COEs and business stakeholders to identify process improvements and recommend solutions.
• Gather, clarify, and document business requirements; translate them into process designs and actionable delivery plans.
• Configure and optimize Workday processes, calculated fields, and security across areas.
• Manage testing, develop test scripts, and coordinate cross-functional testing (UAT).
• Create, maintain and support Workday reports and dashboards using Prism Analytics and Discovery Board.
