Gusto is seeking an experienced L4 People Technology Workday Analyst to lead design, configuration, and optimization of Workday solutions powering HR and payroll. You will mentor others, partner with People, IT, and stakeholders to ensure scalable, business-ready outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years hands-on Workday analyst or configuration experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Workday security, business processes, reporting, and calculated fields.
• Ability to independently determine methods on new, complex assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration of Workday modules (Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, HCM, Talent, Compensation) on complex requirements.
• Architect and guide Workday BP, calculated fields, rules, and security roles; choose methods on new tasks.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of new features with each Workday release; guide policy development.
• Develop and own advanced Workday reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders.
• Drive data quality and integrity across Workday and connected systems; provide analytical insights.
• Own audit readiness through reporting, documentation, and control frameworks.
• Design and lead test strategies including plans, scripts, and UAT coordination.
• Mentor and upskill team members and key users on Workday functionality.
