Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Workday Specialist VP to lead end-to-end technology development for HR value streams and journeys, partnering with HR journey owners to pursue a technology roadmap leveraging Workday, ServiceNow, and other platforms.

Based in Whippany, NJ, the role reports to the HR CIO locally and leads a global pool of resources in a matrix setup, driving risk, transformation and digital initiatives within an Agile delivery model.

Qualifications

• Experience training and implementing changes within Workday.
• Extensive knowledge of Workday Core modules (Core HR).
• Extensive knowledge of Workday modules across HR processes.
• Experience using Workday HCM (employee lifecycle).
• Talent development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions for HR technology platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and strategies.
• Lead code reviews and promote code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and contribute to technology communities.
• Adhere to secure coding practices to protect data and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Implement effective unit testing to ensure reliable software.
