Job summary

DraftKings seeks a People Technology Senior Manager to own Workday across Core HCM, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, Scheduler, Payroll, and more. You will lead a five-person Workday platform team, shaping governance, configuration, and delivery of scalable, employee-centered solutions.

You will drive product-minded improvements, partner with Finance, IT, and external providers, and ensure SOX controls and risk management are embedded in platform operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 7+ years in Workday or enterprise HR tech.
• 7+ years in Workday across Core HCM, Payroll, Talent, etc.
• 2+ years leading technical teams and product minded delivery.
• Experience in governance, SOX controls, and risk management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, governance, health, security, and scalability of Workday.
• Lead a five-person Workday platform team and develop capabilities.
• Design future-state operating model for configuration, integrations, data, testing, releases.
• Shift to consultative, product-minded delivery centered on user problems.
• Manage intake, prioritization, capacity, sourcing, and portfolio tradeoffs.
• Establish metrics for platform health, tickets, incidents, etc.
• Use AI, automation, integrations, and knowledge management to reduce manual work.
• Partner with People Team, Finance, IT, and external providers to deliver compliant solutions.
