GitLab Inc. is seeking a People Technology professional to maintain and improve HR systems in an all-remote, async-first environment. You’ll work with senior stakeholders to run processes, audits, reports, and changes to ensure data integrity and security.

The role blends system administration, testing, and enabling teams with AI-powered tooling. Reporting to the Senior Director, People Technology, you’ll contribute to SOX ITGC controls, build dashboards, and drive improvements across Workday

Formación

• Experience with HR technology, including Workday configuration, testing or support.
• Exposure to SOX ITGC controls, audit evidence and change management.
• Curious, puzzle-solving approach with data-driven analysis.
• AI-forward mindset: using AI tools to automate tasks and speed analysis.
• Experience validating system changes and documenting findings with attention to detail.
• Independent ownership mindset; accountable for outcomes and timely delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Own recurring HR tech processes and monitor system health across teams.
• Administer system security, roles, and conduct regular audits.
• Configure and deploy day-to-day enhancements and quarterly/yearly updates for People programs.
• Write and run test cases; document configurations, processes and schedules.
• Prepare ITGC audit evidence and maintain internal controls documentation.
• Build reports and dashboards to help stakeholders make data-driven decisions.
• Provide training and enablement to maximize tool usage and AI capabilities.
• Support senior team members on cross-team projects and ensure quality, timely delivery.
