Job summary
Capital One is seeking a Workday Engineer to advance our HR technology ecosystem within People Tech. You will drive the design, configuration, and optimization of Workday modules across HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, and Payroll in a fast-paced environment.
You will partner with HR and IT teams to implement resilient solutions, document workflows, and deliver continuous improvements while staying current with Workday updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 4+ years of Workday functional configuration experience (HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Time Tracking, Performance Management).
- 2+ years configuring Workday business processes.
- 1+ year experience with calculated fields or custom reports.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners to define application capabilities and testing scenarios.
- Translate business priorities into HR value propositions and HR strategies.
- Deliver Workday solutions across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits with high standards.
- Communicate effectively with team, product owner, stakeholders and business partners to influence solutions.
- Identify opportunities to redesign business processes with HR partners to optimize results.
- Stay updated on Workday updates, fixes, and capabilities.
