Job summary

Capital One’s People Tech team in New York seeks an experienced Workday Engineer to design and implement resilient HR integrations across Workday modules, enabling scalable and secure HR technology. You will champion automation, enterprise standards, and collaborative delivery.

You will lead integrators and configurators, work with REST and SOAP APIs, and apply Workday Studio expertise in an Agile environment to drive top-quality solutions for HR processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience on HR platforms (Workday)
• 4+ years of experience with Workday Integrations or functional configuration tasks (HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Performance Management)
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing strategic projects

Responsibilities

• Understand and translate business priorities and HR value proposition to meet business needs
• Deliver Workday solutions across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits with high standards
• Communicate effectively with team, Product Owner, stakeholders, and partners
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and redesign business processes
• Design and develop complex Workday integrations using web services (SOAP/REST) and data formats
• Provide technical expertise on Workday Studio, security, troubleshooting, and data analysis
• Lead a team of integrators and configurators for Workday HCM modules
• Align priorities with product owners and deliver using Agile methodologies
• Design and develop automation workflows and perform unit tests and code reviews
