Job summary
Capital One is seeking a Lead Workday Engineer to advance HCM, Recruiting, and Benefits capabilities within its HR technology ecosystem. You will drive automation, design complex Workday integrations, and lead a team of Workday integrators to deliver scalable solutions across the HR ecosystem.
The role requires strong leadership, deep Workday expertise, and collaboration with product owners to align priorities and deliver high-quality, resilient systems in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- At least 6 years of experience on HR platforms (Workday).
- At least 4 years of experience with Workday Integrations or functional configuration (HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Performance Management).
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing strategic projects.
Responsibilities
- Understand and translate business priorities and HR value propositions.
- Deliver Workday solutions across HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll and Benefits with high standards.
- Communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders and influence solutions.
- Identify process improvement opportunities with HR partners to redesign business processes.
- Design and develop complex Workday integrations using web services (SOAP/REST) and XSLT.
- Lead a team of Workday integrators and configurators for HCM modules.
- Align priorities with product owners and deliver using Agile methodologies.
