Kimball Electronics invites you to join our HRIS team as a Workday Intern. You will assist in administrating and supporting the Workday HCM system, ensuring data accuracy and documenting key processes for end users.

Under guidance, you will gain hands-on experience with Workday, collaborate with HR and payroll partners, and contribute to a summer project that enhances user experience for employees and managers.

Qualifications

• Current college student majoring in HR, IS, business analytics, business administration, computer information technology, or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including sorting, filtering, lookups, and pivot tables.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Learn Kimball's Workday culture and processes.
• Build relationships with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Workday Support teams.
• Develop core Workday knowledge for HCM modules (worker records, job profiles, org structures).
• Support data integrity by identifying discrepancies in records and dates.
• Create end-user job aids and onboarding materials; document processes clearly.
• Complete a summer project to improve a Workday process and present results to HR leadership.
