Job summary

Checkr, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Workday specialist to own and advance our Workday platform end to end. You will drive platform configuration, integrations, reporting, and adoption of AI features while partnering with HR, IT, and Finance teams.

The role requires deep Workday expertise, hands-on configuration, and a proactive, self-starting approach to translate complex HR requirements into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, IT, or business.
• 6+ years of HR technology with deep Workday expertise.
• Experience across Workday modules: HCM Core, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent, Recruiting.
• Workday certification (Pro or equivalent) is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience building Workday integrations using Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and Workday APIs.
• Strong command of Workday security model, business process framework, calculated fields, and advanced reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own platform roadmap and alignment with Workday releases.
• Lead configuration, testing, and deployment across HCM Core and other modules.
• Perform regression testing and health checks for Workday releases.
• Build integrations with adjacent systems (Greenhouse, CultureAmp, Pave, payroll, finance, provisioning).
• Improve self‑service experiences for employees and managers.
• Evaluate and implement Workday AI, ML, and analytics capabilities.
