Job summary

Workday is seeking a Principal Technical Architect to design scalable, end‑to‑end Workday Integration and Extend solutions across Finance, HR, and Payroll. You will shape system architecture for global operations and drive AI‑assisted automation within enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in technical architecture, system design, and enterprise application integrations within financial platforms, including Workday Finance.
10+ years of validated Workday integration and Workday Extend development experience across Financial Management, HR, or Payroll.
10+ years of hands‑on experience utilizing core integration tools, including EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Orchestration XSLT, XML, APIs/Web Services, and Authentication protocols.
2+ years of hands‑on experience with SnapLogic / Sanplogic integration platform for enterprise data pipelines and applications.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

Design, architect, and deploy scalable enterprise Workday Integration and Workday Extend solutions across Workday Finance to support global operations.
Lead technical driver for AI initiatives and design autonomous workflows for financial processes.
Architect and implement scalable customer integration patterns for billing and onboarding processes.
Provide high-level technical guidance, evaluate performance bottlenecks, and resolve complex integration issues.
Deliver governance and architecture support to ensure system stability and meet financial milestones.
Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to ensure data flows and robust integration patterns.
Stay current with Workday features and AI innovations and translate them into internal enhancements.
