Job summary

WelbeHealth seeks an Internally Titled People Program Manager (Assignment: Principal Analyst, Workday HCM) to serve as the core Workday HCM configuration expert during the enterprise implementation. You will translate complex business needs into scalable system configurations, guide decision‑making, and mentor future analysts to build long‑term internal expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems, business, or related field preferred; equivalent Workday configuration experience may be substituted.
• Hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience across multiple modules.
• Ability translating business requirements into effective Workday configuration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary hands‑on Workday HCM configuration resource across payroll, absence, time keeping, recruiting, HCM, performance and talent optimization, Peakon, benefits and Cloud Connect, and LMS.
• Partner with leadership and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into configuration decisions.
• Configure Workday HCM modules to support business requirements, compliance, reporting and user experience.
• Support design sessions by identifying options, implications, dependencies and tradeoffs.
• Lead testing activities across unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, and assist with defect resolution.
• Document configuration decisions, business process design, assumptions, dependencies, and technical considerations for knowledge transfer and audits.
• Mentor incoming Workday analysts and support HRIS resources transitioning from other systems.
