Job summary

WelbeHealth seeks a Program Manager (Assignment: Principal Analyst, Workday HCM) to lead hands‑on Workday configuration and drive a scalable implementation. You’ll translate business needs into system designs, mentor upcoming analysts, and partner with stakeholders to ensure compliant, efficient HR processes.

The role reports to the Director, People Technology Transformation and focuses on delivering Phase 1 in 2027, with a comprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems, business, or related field; equivalent Workday configuration experience may be substituted
• Hands-on Workday HCM configuration experience across multiple modules (HCM, payroll, absence, time keeping, recruiting, performance & talent, Peakon, benefits, Cloud Connect, LMS)
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective Workday configurations with thoughtful recommendations
• Experience supporting Workday implementations through design, configuration, testing, defect resolution, and launch
• Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to train/mentor incoming Workday analysts and existing HRIS team members
• Collaborative approach working with PMs, stakeholders, IT, vendors, and partners

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary hands‑on Workday HCM configuration resource across payroll, absence, time keeping, recruiting, HCM, and related modules
• Gather requirements and translate business needs into effective Workday configuration decisions
• Configure Workday HCM modules to support requirements, compliance, reporting, and user experience
• Support solution design sessions with options, dependencies, and tradeoffs; act as technical expert and thought partner
• Lead and participate in testing activities and ensure readiness for launch
• Document configuration decisions, processes, assumptions, and dependencies for knowledge transfer
• Mentor and upskill internal HRIS resources and coordinate with implementation partners
