Job summary

WD is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to shape the future of our HR technology strategy and Workday HCM optimization. You will translate complex business needs into scalable Workday solutions, lead cross-functional HR projects, and enable adoption across a global workforce.

The role requires hands-on Workday configuration, strong analytics, and excellent communication to drive continuous improvements while ensuring compliance and security across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HR, Business Administration, or related field
• Hands-on experience configuring Workday HCM, including business process framework, security, and core modules
• Strong understanding of HCM core modules such as Advanced Compensation, Performance and Development, Succession Planning, Absence Management, Benefits and Journeys
• Extensive experience configuring and optimizing Workday modules, building reports, and managing integrations
• Strong understanding of HR systems architecture, integration concepts, data analytics, and cloud security principles
• Proven track record delivering complex HR system projects in matrixed environments
• Proven success leading HR technology projects through requirements gathering, process improvement, testing, and cross-functional collaboration in global environments while balancing compliance and regional business needs
• Experience with testing, documentation, and system support
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR and cross-functional stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating business needs into scalable functional designs and technical solutions for Workday and HR technology initiatives.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday HCM Core modules, including business processes, condition rules, validations, notifications, approvals, security, organizations, staffing, job profiles, positions, and advanced compensation.
• Advise stakeholders on Workday best practices while driving process improvements, automation opportunities, and continuous optimization aligned with compliance standards.
• Lead HR system projects from requirements gathering to deployment, working with cross-functional teams for successful delivery.
• Develop change management plans, create training resources, and facilitate user adoption of new HR technologies.
