Job summary

Ivy Tech is seeking an HR Systems Architect to lead Workday HCM configuration, security, and system-wide governance. You will partner with stakeholders to design and implement strategic HR technology initiatives and manage the HR Systems Administration Team across multi-tenant environments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in HR analytics or project management, Workday certification, and strong leadership to mentor staff and collaborate with HR and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive analysis, business analysis, or project management experience with 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Professional experience with Workday HCM is required.
• Strong HR background with ERP implementations or configurations; focus on quality and security.
• Workday Certification must be maintained; re-certification is ongoing as a condition of employment.
• Strong data design and management understanding.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies; Certified ScrumMaster is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to lead and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance Workday HCM configurations to meet business needs.
• Serve as the product owner for Workday HCM security and system configurations.
• Develop and manage a strategic HR systems plan with input from statewide HR.
• Act as Scrum Master for the HR Systems Administration Team and address roadblocks.
• Identify risks and ensure mitigation to acceptable levels.
• Lead QA processes for Workday HCM releases and testing.
• Support end users during hypercare and ensure timely release items.
