Job summary
Ramp is seeking a Technical Consultant to serve Enterprise and Strategic Enterprise customers using Workday. You will partner with Activation & Account Management to design financial solutions leveraging Ramp and partner integrations, ensuring scalable, high-value outcomes across multi-entity environments.
You will act as the technical and financial SME, define onboarding-to-expansion success criteria, and collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to evolve Ramp’s capabilities for
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, finance, business, or a related field
- 4+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or a similar customer-facing technical role
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience working with Workday, including integration patterns and enterprise deployment models
- Deep familiarity with Workday finance and accounting workflows, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, financial dimensions, and legal entity structures
- Comfort working with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture and being able to explain those concepts to finance and operations stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Technical Consultant for Enterprise and Strategic Enterprise accounts running Workday, supporting complex, high-impact customers with multi-entity, multi-ERP, and global financial environments
- Act as a technical advisor to customers and Ramp's internal teams while supporting high-value implementations and expansion opportunities by guiding Workday integration, configuration, and system design
- Partner with Customer Activation and Account Management teams to assess customer requirements and propose scalable solutions involving Workday Finance & Operations, HRIS, and API integrations
- Collaborate with onboarding specialists and implementation leads to support technical workstreams, ensuring faster time-to-value and customer success
- Work with customers to problem-solve technical hurdles and propose effective product implementations with a deep understanding of Workday integration and configuration options
- Be a subject matter expert across Workday and Ramp's accounting integration capabilities, partnering with Sales, Product and partners to advocate for integration development aligned with customer needs
- Troubleshoot Workday integration blockers and guide customers through complex configuration decisions
- Contribute to internal documentation and tooling that scales Ramp's ability to support Workday integration use cases across a growing customer base
- Influence Ramp's product roadmap by channeling Workday customer pain points and feedback to the Product and Engineering teams
