Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a mid-level Workday Consultant with expertise in Reporting, Integrations, and Financial Management to support a post-production environment. The consultant will partner with the HRIS Operations Manager to configure, troubleshoot and enhance Workday environments.

The role covers creating reports and dashboards, ensuring report security and data governance, and supporting HR, Finance and Payroll reporting across systems.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of hands-on Workday experience.
• Delivery experience in Workday Reporting and Workday Integrations.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

We’re seeking a mid-level Workday Consultant with technical and functional expertise in Reporting, Integrations and Financial Management to support a post-production environment.

The consultant will partner with the HRIS Operations Manager taking primary responsibility for configuring, troubleshooting and enhancing our Workday environments.

Reports & Analytics

• Create reports for our internal teams including advanced, matrix and composite reports.
• Create delivered and custom dashboards.
• Provide guidance on report security and data governance.
• Support cross-functional reporting for HR, Finance and Payroll departments.

Integrations

• Support and enhance existing inbound and outbound integrations including
• EIB
• Custom RaaS
• Core connectors
• REST API
• Monitor and resolve integration errors
• Perform data mapping, transformation and validation
• Document integration architecture and logic
• Support finance, payroll and benefits integrations

Support configuration and troubleshooting for:

• General ledger
• Expenses
• Financial integrations

Environment & Collaboration

• Partner with internal HRIS Operations Manager, internal departments and external consultants on:
• Monitoring stability in our tenants including Sandbox, Preview and Production
• WD Releases (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly) including testing and making recommendations
• Testing and validating fixes for the issues presented
• Assist when needed for other modules including Benefits, Recruiting, Payroll and HCM
• Participate in the planned sprints for various requested changes by the business.
• Ensure change management and documentation processes are followed.
• Triage and handle tickets submitted in ServiceNow
• Provide ongoing system optimization recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement in the Workday system
• Provide support and training to end-users ensuring they’re equipped to utilize the system effectively.
