Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Workday Compensation Specialist to configure and execute the annual compensation cycle across multiple populations.

You will manage grids, templates, and security rules, and collaborate with People Operations to map organizational structures for thousands of employees. The role supports Workday Core/Advanced Compensation, participates in biannual releases, and drives regression testing and production readiness with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Workday experience including Advanced Compensation concepts.
• Familiarity with Core HCM configuration.
• Understanding of compensation fundamentals like incentive plans and accruals.
• Strong Excel skills with Power Query and complex formulas.
• Detail-oriented with robust testing and documentation habits.
• Clear communicator able to explain concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute and validate pre-launch configurations for the annual compensation cycle across all active processes and eligible populations.
• Generate and update grids, matrices, templates, and rules prior to cycle launch.
• Collaborate with People Operations to build org structure and production distribution.
• Assist with automated regression testing and escalate findings as needed.
• Support Workday enhancements and ticket lifecycle management with stakeholders.
• Participate in post-cycle configuration reviews and sandbox validation.
