Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Workday-focused Business Analyst to bridge business needs with technical Workday solutions in a large enterprise environment. You will lead requirements sessions, document functional specs, and drive end‑to‑end testing across HR modules such as HCM, Payroll, and Benefits.

The role requires 5+ years in ERP/HRIS analysis, strong communication, and a track record of collaborating with HR and IT partners to deliver scalable, compliant Workday configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR, or related field.
• 5+ years in business analyst or HRIS roles.
• 3+ years hands-on Workday HCM experience.
• Experience gathering requirements and writing user stories.
• Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between business and technical teams to gather and validate Workday requirements.
• Lead requirements sessions and discovery workshops with HR and IT partners.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and testable requirements.
• Analyze current-state processes, identify gaps, recommend improvements, and support future-state design aligned with Workday capabilities and business objectives.
• Partner with configuration, integration, reporting, and security teams to ensure Workday solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and operationally effective.
• Support Workday enhancements, releases, upgrades, regression testing, production support, and defect resolution across assigned functional areas.
• Develop and maintain business requirements, functional design documents, test scripts, and support procedures.
• Coordinate and support system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, issue triage, and business readiness activities.
• Monitor integration health, data trends, and user feedback to recommend support improvements.
• Maintain knowledge of Workday functionality, release updates, business process framework, reporting, security concepts, and HR technology best practices.
