Moraine Valley Community College is seeking a Work Study Tutor Student Employee for the Liberal Arts Speaking & Writing Center. The role supports students with individualized academic assistance and explains concepts clearly in a respectful, confidential manner.
You must be enrolled in at least 6 credits, maintain a 2.0 GPA, and comply with weekly hour limits. The position is on Main Campus with a 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. window Monday through Thursday during spring and fall terms.
STUDENT MUST HAVE WORK STUDY AWARD!
During the Fall and Spring, student employees are allowed to work a maximum of 20 hours per week and must be enrolled in 6 or more credit hours. During the Summer, holiday break and spring break student employees are allowed to work a maximum of 25 hours per week. Summer only, students must be enrolled in 3 or more credit hours. Student employees must always maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
