University of Wyoming in Laramie is seeking a Work Study Library Aide for the Stacks Maintenance unit in the University Libraries. Work Study Library Aide - Stacks Maintenance, University Libraries
Stacks Maintenance is located within the Public Services Unit of the University Libraries and encompasses Shelving and Interlibrary loan. The primary role of both the Shelving and Interlibrary Loan areas is to help library patrons access library materials. These areas are comprised of a mix of full-time staff and student employees.
Job location: Coe Library
Pay rate or range: Beginning wage is $12.00 an hour; pay increases to $12.35 an hour after successful completion of first semester's work.
This position works in the Shelving and Interlibrary Loan (ILL) units with the Public Services department of the UW Libraries.
Shelving/ILL hours of operation are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
Education: High school diploma/GED
Must be eligible, have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.
Attention to detail skills applicable to all majors.
On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus, understanding our location is at 7,220 feet above sea level.
