JOB TITLE:

Student Technician, Center for Student Involvement & Leadership

JOB PURPOSE:

This position will provide essential technical support for union events and activities. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative and the capability to work independently under limited supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Setup, Operate, and Strike Event Technologies: Assist in the setup, operation, and dismantling of audio, video, lighting, and other event technologies according to event requirements.
  • Quickly Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during events to ensure smooth operations and minimal disruption.
  • Provide Excellent and Timely Customer Service: Interact professionally with event organizers and attendees, addressing technical needs promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with Team: Work closely with the Student Technical Services team to coordinate tasks, equipment setup, and event logistics.

On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus, understanding our location is at 7,220 feet above sea level.
