Job summary

Lehigh Carbon Community College seeks a Pre-Apprenticeship, Apprenticeship & Internship Navigator to develop work-based learning for CTE students and build connections with employers.

You will identify apprenticeship and internship opportunities, coordinate with faculty and industry partners, and manage student applications and documentation.

This role reports to the Director of Career Development and Civic Engagement and is contingent on Perkins grant funding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Career or Technical area or equivalent.
• Act 153 Clearances (clearance requirements).
• Three years of experience in student services, workforce development, career counseling, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Identify apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship opportunities for CTE students.
• Serve as the primary liaison to local companies and workforce development organizations.
• Support industry engagement to expand work-based learning opportunities and align programs with labor market trends.
• Partner with deans, CTE program faculty, and coordinators to embed career development into curriculum.
• Collaborate with CTE programs to align hands-on learning with objectives and certifications.
• Complete documentation and coordinate with faculty to apply for apprenticeships and internships.
