Job summary

Community College of Philadelphia seeks a part-time Student Success Navigator to support recruitment and enrollment into ECE pathways, including the Learn and Earn Apprenticeship and CDA courses. The role involves collaboration with the Education Department and external partners to help students succeed in the apprenticeship and related programs.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree, 2+ years in higher education administration, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

• Associate degree required or equivalent; experience in higher education administration preferred.
• Two years’ experience in higher education administration, Apprenticeship or workforce training programs, or similar setting.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills required.
• Knowledge of NAEYC standards of best practice preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, selection, and all registration and application processes for Apprentices and CDA candidates.
• Serve as primary contact to support onboarding, including assessments and funding paperwork.
• Coordinate with external partners (PHMC, FirstUp) to support student success.
• Assist with workshops on financial literacy, tuition, and TEACH forms for Apprenticeship cohorts.
• Build relationships, advocate for students, and connect them to campus resources.
• Collect data and prepare written reports for internal and external partners; maintain FERPA documentation.
• Participate in meetings with program partners and represent CCP at apprenticeship board meetings if needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
