Job summary

Lehigh Carbon Community College in Pennsylvania is seeking a Pre-Apprenticeship, Apprenticeship & Internship Navigator to develop work-based learning experiences for CTE students. The Navigator identifies apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship opportunities and builds connections with employers to create paid, real-world experiences aligned with employer needs.

It also handles applications/documents and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Career or Technical area from an accredited institution.
• Three years of experience in student services, workforce development, or related fields.
• Leadership, teamwork, initiative, customer service, and commitment to ongoing professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Identify apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship opportunities for CTE students.
• Serve as liaison to local companies to secure programs including internships.
• Support industry engagement to align CTE with labor market trends.
• Embed career development and work-based learning into CTE curricula with faculty.
• Coordinate employer involvement in classrooms, advisory boards, and curriculum.
• Prepare documentation for apprenticeships and internships and track outcomes.
