Job summary

hosting.com is seeking a Customer Success Associate to build strong relationships with existing WordPress hosting customers and drive retention. You will engage customers proactively, understand their hosting needs, and act as their primary advocate across internal teams.

The role emphasizes knowledge of hosting infrastructure, regular account reviews, and collaboration with Support, Sales, and Technical teams to deliver value and prevent issues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Customer Support, Sales, or related role.
• Experience in web hosting, technology, digital services, or a related industry.
• Good working knowledge of web hosting and WordPress infrastructure.
• Understanding of web servers, databases, DNS, SSL, caching, and website performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with assigned customers.
• Proactively engage customers through regular check-ins, account reviews, and ongoing communication.
• Understand customers’ businesses, websites, hosting requirements, and future plans.
• Develop relationships with business owners, digital agencies, developers, and technical stakeholders.
• Act as the primary commercial relationship contact and internal customer advocate.
• Escalate customer concerns appropriately and ensure follow-through.
