Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Wooden Truss Builder for a Columbiana, AL location. You will assemble wooden trusses used in building projects, using hands, hammers and power tools. English and Spanish speakers are welcome.

Work typically Monday through Saturday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Benefits include weekly pay, medical/dental/vision, and 401(k) options. Prior construction experience and steel-toe boots are required for this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• Must have physical strength to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long hours.
• Prior construction experience preferred.
• Steel toe boots required.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• English and Spanish speakers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assemble building material components such as roof and floor trusses.
• Insert or position materials, clamp, splice, and fit parts by hand and with power tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize assembly processes.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE, securing loads properly.
