Expect to handle lumber, use hand and power tools, lift up to 50 lbs, and follow production instructions to meet quality standards and deadlines. Pay ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, with a Monday-Thursday schedule, 7 AM to 5:30 PM, and available benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in carpentry, truss building, construction, or related manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
• Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious mindset.
• Ability to stand for the duration of an entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret building drawings, blueprints, and plans to determine truss specifications.
• Select, prepare, and handle lumber and other materials for truss assembly.
• Assemble roof and floor trusses using hand tools and power tools according to specifications.
• Inspect completed trusses to ensure quality, accuracy, and safety standards are met.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of materials used, trusses built, and production issues.
