Job summary

Agcor Steel Llc is seeking a Truss Assembler to construct precut wooden trusses per customer orders from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The role requires strong attention to safety and quality, the ability to read blueprints, measure accurately, and work well in a team on a fast-paced manufacturing floor.

You will maintain equipment, perform basic preventative tasks, and support ongoing department and plant goals. Prior manufacturing or field experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Properly utilize PPE and maintain safety
• Read and write clear instructions and blueprints
• Measure with tape measure and assemble to spec
• Maintain dependable attendance and follow multi-step instructions
• Work indoors without air conditioning and collaborate with team
• Contribute to safe, accurate, on-time production

Responsibilities

• Assemble precut wooden trusses per orders and specifications
• Operate assembly equipment safely and efficiently
• Conduct quality checks and adjust as needed
• Maintain clean and organized workstation
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and report issues
• Support meeting department and plant goals such as safety and quality
• Cross-train on other department functions
• Perform other duties as assigned.
