Job summary

Automation Personnel Services seeks a dependable Truss Assembler for our Culpeper, VA operation. You will construct and assemble trusses, read blueprints, and ensure accurate fittings using saws, nail guns and drills.

Expect a full-time schedule from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with Fridays eligible for overtime. You must lift up to 50 lbs., work in a non-climate-controlled plant, and pass a background check and drug screen. Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a measuring tape.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Willing to work in a non-climate-controlled environment inside production plant.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assemble truss components, including beams and connectors, using saws, nail guns, and drills.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
• Inspect finished trusses for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Handle and organize materials efficiently to maintain workflow and reduce waste.
