MillerKnoll is seeking an Operations Work Team Leader on second shift in our Wood department to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production. You will lead frontline teams, plan activities, assign tasks, and drive kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a 4-year degree and 3–5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing, with lean principles, ERP (JDE) proficiency, and strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree preferred and manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Experience leading teams in a production environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and safety practices.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and office software.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization.
• Plan and lead daily activities using the production schedule.
• Assign employees to complete manufacturing operations daily.
• Lead kaizen events and implement improvement solutions.
• Ensure safe, efficient production meeting customer specs.
• Manage training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Track work orders to ensure on-time shipments.
• Ensure adherence to company policies.
