Job summary

MillerKnoll in Atlanta seeks an Operations Leader to set strategy and manage multiple Work Team Leaders and their teams to meet safety, quality, reliability, cost, and morale targets. You’ll coach, develop, and organize the workforce to exceed objectives aligned with the company’s business strategy.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, kaizen, standard work, 5-S, and eliminating waste while delivering 100% value to the customer and on-time product delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/operations management or equivalent.
• Minimum of six years supervisory experience in a technical or complex operations environment.
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Coaching and change management skills.
• Ability to lead and develop multi-shift teams with a problem-solving focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple Work Team Leaders and their teams to achieve safety, quality, reliability, cost, continuous improvement and morale goals.
• Drive continuous improvement via kaizen and standardized work.
• Develop and coach work team leaders in a problem-solving management structure.
• Oversee employee selection, training and development to improve processes.
• Promote a safe environment and ensure compliance with 5-S and ISO quality plans.
