Job summary

MillerKnoll is seeking a dedicated wood frame assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble wood frame components in a fast-paced setting, using hand and pneumatic tools, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

This role supports lean manufacturing principles, conducts routine inspections, and collaborates with teammates to meet daily production goals. Work hours are Monday–Thursday 3:30pm–2am, Fridays as needed, with opportunities for cross-training and development.

Qualifications

Education required: High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) or relevant work experience.
Experience assembling wood products or components in manufacturing or construction is preferred.
Ability to read tape measures, basic drawings, and work instructions; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

Assemble wood frame components, panels, or structures according to work instructions and schedules.
Use hand and pneumatic tools to fasten lumber and components accurately.
Inspect materials and finished assemblies for quality and specifications.
Maintain a lean, safe, and efficient production pace; follow OSHA safety practices.
Cross-train in other assembly processes to build additional skills.
