Job summary

MillerKnoll, Inc. is seeking an Operations Work Team Leader for the Wood department's second shift to oversee daily manufacturing operations and lead front-line teams. You will plan and coordinate production, drive safety, quality, and on-time shipments, develop Team Leads, and implement Kaizen events with a continuous improvement focus.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of ERP systems, lean principles, ISO standards, and a commitment to safe manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• Lead daily manufacturing operations in Wood department on second shift.
• Coach and develop Team Leads and Operators; drive kaizen and CI activities.
• Ensure safety, quality, and on-time production to customer specs.

Responsibilities

• Establish effective relationships across all levels of the organization
• Utilize the Daily Production Schedule to plan and lead daily activities of manufacturing team
• Assign employees to complete all manufacturing operations daily
• Lead kaizen events and problem solving; implement solutions
• Oversee daily operations to ensure safe, efficient work; meet specs
• Train and evaluate employees; support hiring decisions and performance management
• Track work orders to ensure on-time shipments
• Ensure adherence to company policies; support lean and ISO standards
