J. Alexander's Restaurant is seeking a Grill Cook for PM shifts with weekend and holiday availability. The role involves maintaining grill temperatures in an open kitchen, coordinating with expo and management, and ensuring food safety and sanitation.

Both part-time and full-time options are offered with competitive pay. Applicants should have at least 1 year of kitchen experience or related culinary work, be at least 18, and be flexible for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old to operate kitchen equipment.
• 1 year kitchen/culinary/chef experience on a wood-burning grill preferred but not required.
• Experience with knives, slicer, mixer, stoves and ovens.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grill temperature throughout the shift.
• Coordinate with expo, assemblers and management to manage ticket orders.
• Ensure proper food temperatures and sanitation; keep station clean.
• Perform opening duties and closing cleaning tasks.
