Job summary

J. Alexander's Restaurants is seeking a Grill Cook to maintain the grill and cooking temperatures across shifts in an open-kitchen environment. You will work closely with team members to ensure accurate food temps and timely ticket fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of kitchen/culinary/chef experience on a broiler preferred.
• Experience with common kitchen equipment (knives, slicer, mixer, stoves, ovens).
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grill temperature throughout the shift and ensure proper cooking temps.
• Operate in an open-kitchen layout with clear communication to the dining area and team.
• Coordinate with expo, assembler, and management to ensure smooth service.
