Job summary

American Woodmark is seeking a production supervisor to coordinate department activities and optimize resources to meet SQDC goals. The role requires strong supervision across multiple departments and a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

You will influence performance through planning, team leadership, and adherence to standard operating procedures in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience; wood related preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of supervision experience; multiple department.
• Experience in material flows, inventory management, CI, and process analysis.
• Six Sigma training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback to providers to meet/exceed expectations.
• Maintain production equipment and processes.
• Plan and coordinate department activities to meet SQDC targets.
• Lead teams and participate in projects; ensure SOPs are followed.
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance reviews.
